David Rathbone Patterson
David Rathbone Patterson 29 of Longmeadow passed away on Sunday December 20 2009 after sustaining injuries in a car accident. Born in Springfield on March 11 1980 David graduated from Longmeadow High School in 1998 where he was a standout musician and athlete. In the years since David had gone on to become a renowned area musician with a loyal following across the country. He is survived by his devoted mother Lucy "Robin" (Atkinson) Patterson of Longmeadow his loving sister Elizabeth Markham and her husband Brian of Fairfield CT. his loving brother Robert Patterson of New York New York. and he was the adored uncle of Quinn Madeleine and Charlotte Markham all of Fairfield CT. He also leaves his maternal grandparents Bob and Lucy (Bugbee) Atkinson of Longmeadow and his paternal grandfather Robert Patterson of Florida. David was the beloved nephew of Sally Harrelson and her husband Tom of Longmeadow Victoria Hartsock and Glenn Patterson both of Florida and five cousins Whitney John and Jeff Harrelson and Kimberly and Nicole Hartsock as well as Daniel Tomassetti devoted family friend.
